Tecán Tequila: Tecán is a reposado tequila made of 100% Blue Weber Agave from the Jaliscan Highlands in Mexico. Unique to Tecán is the extended fermentation process that gives it a characteristic smoothness, and soft body. Tecán is aged for eight months on American White Oak barrels, which is recognizable due to the light vanilla sweetness when tasting it. Tecán is the fusion of two words: tequila and bacán. The first word speaks for itself. As for bacán, it’s a term used in some Latin American countries to describe a pleasant and alluring person; people characterized by their flair and confidence. They are the embodiment of having fun and enjoying life. It is an attitude that permeates in everything we do at Tecán.
