Duke of Tokyo in association with Johnnie Walker proudly present ‘The Walk Off’ on Sunday 17th March
The ‘COMPLETELY UNOFFICIAL’ Amsterdam Cocktail Week Closing Party with Guest Bartender Max Venning.
All great things must come to an end – even Amsterdam Cocktail Week!;) Walk it off in style at Duke of Tokyo, with a special menu, courtesy of Max Venning of award-winning Three Sheets cocktail bar in London, and epic walk-themed tunes from everyone’s favourite bartending DJ extraordinaire Chris Stabback! There will also be a Karaoke Room reserved for those who want to dance to their own melodies for a song or two.
Max and his brother Noel opened Three Sheets in London in 2016, and the bar continues to win accolades and critical acclaim, using cooking techniques and seasonal ingredients to produce elegant yet unpretentious drinks for a discerning crowd.
They opened Bar III in 2018, and within 2 months it was listed as the third best bar in London, with Three Sheets coming in at number 10. Three Sheets was also 29th Best bar in the world that year. In October, he opened Little Mercies with Alan Sherwood, ex scout.
In 2019 Three Sheets won Best Bar in the UK, Bar Three won best new bar and Max won Best Bartender.
After working on numerous high profile projects around the world, including Heston Blumenthal’s Dinner Melbourne and Jeremy Chan’s Ikoyi London, Max is bringing his expert palate and creative flair to Amsterdam, taking over the bar at Duke of Tokyo for one night only, with the help of our friends at Johnnie Walker to present the ‘Johnnie Walker Highball Collection’ by Max Venning & Duke of Tokyo.
Look forward to seeing you on Sunday!!!
