Vault Bar

Secret Bar located inside the Luxury Hotel Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam, a building dating back to 1665 that belonged to Joost Kemp, the lord of Kerkwijk who, after selling it, hosted numerous families belonging to the high society of Amsterdam. In 1954 the Nederlandse Overzee Bank purchased the building and in 1969 founded Mees & Hope, the most exclusive bank in Holland. The safes, the ceiling and the thick walls reveal other secrets of this location, this is the place where people kept their possessions such as their most precious jewels and money. We have tried to enhance this space without distorting it by combining service, art and performance focusing on the Mixologist’s creations, tailor-made on your favorite flavors, the exquisite cocktails, the exclusive digestives, the unique spirits, and the selection of contemporary small bites with innovative flavors; all this to create and offer an exclusive experience.
