Zum Barbarossa

Sultry, mysterious anything can happen. History: arbarossa is a restaurant, cocktail bar, and club all in one; on Fridays and Saturdays, a DJ plays until 2 AM. So after dining, you are more than welcome to stick around. Barbarossa is located in an ancient building that once served as a beer cellar where shady gambling games were played. The past contributes to the touch of mystery surrounding the bar: Barbarossa was once the name of the Groningen beer that secretly flowed from the tap there. Now, it is the name of an intimate bar, right in the middle of the city yet still hidden.
